Terms of Service

Welcome to 237 Host ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Services

237 Host provides web hosting, website deployment, domain registration, DNS management, and related services to individuals and businesses. Our services allow you to:

• Deploy websites from ZIP uploads or GitHub repositories
• Host static sites, React/Vite apps, Laravel applications, and WordPress
• Register and manage custom domains with automatic SSL
• Purchase website templates from our marketplace
• Pay using Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Orange Money) or other supported methods

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have legal guardian consent to use our services. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at admin@237host.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to host, transmit, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, or malicious. This includes but is not limited to content prohibited under our Acceptable Use Policy. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these policies.

5. Deployed Content

You retain full ownership of all content you deploy through 237 Host. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on the rights of third parties. We do not claim ownership of your deployed websites or data.

6. Payments and Billing

Hosting plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) depending on your selected plan. Domain registrations are billed per year. Payments are processed through Mobile Money or other supported payment gateways. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, network outages, and events beyond our control may cause temporary downtime. We are not liable for losses resulting from service unavailability.

8. Intellectual Property

The 237 Host platform, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Templates purchased through our marketplace are subject to their individual licensing terms.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or engage in conduct harmful to our platform or other users. Upon termination, your deployed websites may be taken offline.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 237 Host shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. See our Disclaimer for more details.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or dashboard notification. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cameroon unless otherwise agreed in writing.
