Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which 237 Host issues refunds for hosting plans, domain registrations, and template purchases.

1. Hosting Plans

Monthly Plans

  • Eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the initial purchase, provided no website has been deployed or the deployment failed due to our platform.
  • Refund requests after 7 days are prorated based on unused time, minus payment processing fees.
  • Renewal payments are non-refundable once the renewal period has started.

Annual Plans

  • Eligible for a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase.
  • After 14 days, refunds are prorated for the remaining unused months, minus a 10% administrative fee and payment processing fees.

2. Domain Registrations

  • Domain registrations are non-refundable once the domain has been registered with the registrar, as domain fees are paid to the registry immediately.
  • If a domain registration fails (e.g., the domain is already taken), the full amount will be refunded or credited to your account.
  • Domain renewals are non-refundable once processed.

3. Template Purchases

  • Template purchases are non-refundable as they are digital goods delivered instantly.
  • If a template is defective or significantly different from its description, contact us within 7 days for a refund or replacement.

4. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Account terminated due to violations of our Acceptable Use Policy or Terms of Service
  • Services used beyond the refund eligibility period
  • Domain registration fees (as noted above)
  • Downgrade fees or plan change differentials

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email admin@237host.com with:

  • Your account email and username
  • The transaction ID or invoice number
  • The reason for the refund request

Refund requests are processed within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method (Mobile Money or bank account).

6. Payment Processing Fees

Mobile Money and payment gateway fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.

7. Service Credits

In some cases, we may offer service credits (account balance) instead of a cash refund. Service credits can be used toward future hosting or domain purchases.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes apply to purchases made after the update date.
